Cost-code architecture, work-order frameworks, and intake-variable registries. The bridge between renovation scope and a defendable estimate that holds up through procurement and through reconciliation.
The shape of the capability
- Cost-code system — phase bands, WO prefixes, decimal suffix conventions, QB mapping rules. One system that survives from estimate → procurement → actuals.
- Work-order packets — 44 phase-build files (
p1w01a-...through P4), each with scope/materials/labor pre-mapped to cost codes. - Intake-variable registry — every variable that feeds an estimate paired with its capture form, owner, and consuming WO.
- Forms 00-10 — captures every variable at the timing event when it becomes knowable (offer → contract → walkthrough → engineering → selections → field decisions → environmental).
